Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Web Developer with design translation experience to help build out our company website. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing web applications. They will also be translating front-end design concepts into functional and visually appealing interfaces while ensuring the scalability, security, and maintainability of the software developed on the back end. We’re looking for someone with organic creativity and innovative ideas to bring our website to life.

Objectives of this role:

• Develop and implement high-quality web applications using modern web development technologies
• Translate design concepts into functional and visually appealing user interfaces
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Design, develop, and deploy software solutions
• Build a robust backend architecture to fetch data from servers
• Identify and address performance issues
• Find platform tools that interact with multiple Social Media sources and pool them for comprehensive analysis.
• Make recommendations for better database collection, and analysis tools.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and maintainability of the software developed
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager to help define what is built, as well as drive how to build it.
• Provide ongoing technical guidance and support to Marketing Management.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in web development
• Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and Ruby
• Experience using WordPress
• Experience creating unique features and functionalities that target specific audiences.
• Experience determining the specific needs of a business and tailoring the website to meet those needs.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Knowledge or experience in the space industry is preferred but not required.
• Experience in building B2B websites.
• Creativity: can understand the project's objectives and create a product that engages the target audience.
• Strategic planning: possesses the aptitude to plan the design, development, and implementation phases strategically to streamline the building process.
• Analytical skills: can analyze information accurately and make logical, data-driven decisions that help maximize efficiency.
• Problem-solving can predict errors and develop bug-free applications.
• Time management skills: can meet deadlines while ensuring the proper execution of their tasks.

Job Type:

• This web development job is a contract project with a performance-based retention option.

Schedule:

• Remote for contract work

Competitive Rate:

• $40 an hour for contract work
• $80,000 - $110,000 if brought on full-time.
